Seniors Fun & Games

Mar 10, 24 & Apr 7, 21 & May 5 at 1 – 4pm

We will meet every second Monday from 1-4pm in the SSCA Boardroom to play card games, tile games, and board games. Mexican train, Euchre, Cribbage, 5 Crowns, Sequence, Rummikub, Shut the Box are some of the games played, but if you’ve got a game in mind bring it! A Silver Springs Community membership is required. Participants pay $2, per afternoon attended.

Dancing in the Dark

Friday, March 7  at 7 – 8pm

You are invited to come and Dance in the (almost) Dark. The whole point is to have fun and get some exercise, there is nothing to “learn”. It would be a time to come and dance freely in the company of others and with the lights low people can truly dance without worrying what they look like. It would be a place to shake off the stresses of the week, let go of your inhibitions and truly be yourself. 

The lighting will be kept to a minimum, I have some disco type lights and it is light enough to avoid any collisions. It gets warm so wear layers and remember your water bottle.
