Silver Springs has a wonderful and growing group of seniors (55+)! This active group has organized games afternoons, e-bike tours, luncheons, karaoke, dancing in the dark, various tours and more!

Senior’s Games Afternoon
April 28, May 5, 12 and 26 | 1-4pm
Our Monday games afternoons have been so successful we are moving from every second Monday to every Monday, thanks to Myrna for volunteering to host the Monday I am not available. We resurrected games afternoons in January 2025 on a trial basis, to see if there was interest and obviously there was!!!
SSCA Senior’s E-Bike/Bike Group
The SSCA Seniors e-bike/bike group will start up again this summer. If you are not on the group list or want to confirm with me that you are, please email karenk@silverspringscommunity.ca.

March 31– 35 of us enjoyed a delicious lunch and tour of Wellings of Calgary Active Seniors Living Facility. Many thanks to Marilyn, Barry and Colleen for initiating this event and to Lindsay, Amanda and Mark (Wellings Staff) for making our afternoon so enjoyable and informative. It is an amazing facility with many amenities. If nothing else, it started conversations on alternative living options for seniors. Forward thinking is not a bad idea and information is power.
April 23– we have an enthusiastic group touring the Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre, with feature exhibit “ From Me to You: The Beatles in Canada 1964-1966”.
April 25– registration went fast for over 50 seniors coming together for a 2 hour Beginner Line Dancing session.
