West Valley Softball welcomes all children aged 4-18 who live in northwest Calgary. Children of all skill levels are invited to join our teams. Our programs offer players an opportunity to develop skills, create friendships, and above all, have fun.  West Valley Softball programs are administered by the Silver Springs Community Association and is not incorporated. All our operating funds come from registration fees. The fees cover CMSA league fees, player insurance. Donations of cash and equipment to the district are gratefully accepted and are eligible for charitable receipts through the Silver Springs Community Association.​

2024 Season Updates

• Spring training sessions are starting January 7, 2024. This is earlier than in past years. Spring training session for January will be every Sunday morning at Spray Lakes Family Sports Center.
• In February, March, and April spring training sessions are scheduled for Saturday or Sunday. Pre-season weekend training sessions are included in your registration.
• These sessions are run from January 7 until April 13 at Spray Lakes Sawmills Family Sports Centre, Bearspaw Christian School, and Absolute Baseball
• Registered players will receive details via Team Snap email notification within 2 days of registration.
• Div. 1 Warrior tryouts start January 28. Please see the tryout and evaluation schedule below.

Early Registration Fees and Game Nights

• Timbits U7 (2017, 2018, 2019): $120 | Tuesday and Thursday
• U9 (2015, 2016): $200 | Monday and Wednesday
• U11 (2013, 2014): $300 | Tuesday and Thursday
• U13 (2011, 2012) $325 | Monday and Wednesday
• U15 (2009, 2010) $350 | Tuesday and Thursday
• U17 & U19 (2005-2008): $350 | Monday and Wednesday
• NOTE: Registration fees increase by $25 after February 1, 2023

Recognizing Division 1 will have a longer season which includes league-provided umpires, each player on a U9 to HS division 2 or 3 team will receive a team apparel credit towards West Valley hoodie. The purchase of team gear will be coordinated through West Valley.

All West Valley families must complete the Respect in Sport program. Your Respect in
Sport number is required for registration. If you have taken Respect in Sport for a
