Silver Springs has a wonderful and growing group of seniors (55+)! This active group has organized games afternoons, e-bike tours, luncheons, karaoke, dancing in the dark, various tours and more!Â

University of Calgary, Faculty of Vet Medicine Tour | May 13 >
Carpooling will be organized from SSCA for those needing a ride. A SSCA Seniors Membership is required. Registration opens on May 1 at 9:00 am.

Historical Walking Tour with Lunch at Spolumbos | May 20 >
Join us for a historical walk through Inglewood, followed by lunch at Spolumbo’s. Carpooling will be arranged from SSCA for those needing a ride. SSCA Seniors membership is required. Registration is mandatory, with a maximum of 20 participants at a cost of $15.

Join us for our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at Riverside Golf Course, Cochrane, followed by dinner at Ducks on a Roof. SSCA Seniors Membership required. Registration is necessary, with a maximum of 28 golfers (7 teams of 4). Cost is $30. Tee time starts at 1:30 pm, last tee time ends at 2:24 pm.
Silver Springs Friendly Bridge
Come join a game of friendly bridge at the Silver Springs Community Centre on Wednesday afternoons from 1 – 4 pm. Participants are expected to have either played previously or taken some beginner lessons. We encourage everyone to follow the American Contract Bridge League standards, explained in Audrey Grant’s bridge resources.

Cost: $2 per person, per afternoon attended.

Mah Jong Group
Join us at the community centre for Mah Jong every Thursday afternoon from 1 – 4 pm. A Silver Springs Community membership is required. Please contact Anne: anndowli@telus.net if you’d like to attend.

Senior’s Fun & Games
Join us for Senior’s games on Monday afternoons from 1 – 4 pm. Each session features a variety of classic cards & games — Rummy, Bridge, Uno, board games, dominoes, puzzles and other light strategy games.
