Community Clean-Up

9am – 2pm

Silver Springs Clean Up is a COVID Compliant event: volunteers and participants must wear masks, sanitizing stations will be set up, volunteers will be mindful of maintaining 2m of distance.

Volunteer Needed

(jobs will involve heavy lifting)

Please note for proper traffic flow, enter the parking lot from Silver Ridge Drive coming down the hill from Silver Springs Boulevard (right hand turn only into the parking lot!).

ITEMS ACCEPTED:

• Organic and Yard Waste (City is providing a separate truck for this)
• Household garbage – anything that you don’t want to recycle

ITEMS FOR RECYCLING:

• Electronics (Technotrash Alberta)
• Metal Recycling (Bow West Appliances)

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED: (these items can be taken to your local firehall or landfill)

• Hazardous Waste or chemicals
• Paint
• Tires
• Car Batteries
