Dance Program Coordinator (Part-Time Contract)

The Silver Springs Community Association is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Dance Program Coordinator to lead and grow our community-based recreational dance program.

This is an exciting opportunity to help plan the program from the ground up while making a positive impact on children and families in our community.

Program Schedule

• Classes run Wednesday & Thursday
• 4:15 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Planning and preparation begin in July
• Classes start in September

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the community dance program
• Plan class schedules and assist with program development
• Recruit, supervise, and support dance instructors
• Ensure classes are organized, engaging, and welcoming
• Communicate effectively with instructors, participants, and families
• Help grow and promote the program within the community

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a variety of dance styles
• Experience working with children
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to supervise and mentor instructors
• Experience planning, managing, and coordinating recreational programs is an asset
• Passion for building a positive, inclusive community dance program

• Part-time (approximately 6 hours per week during program delivery, with additional planning hours as required)
