Softball (West Valley Softball)
West Valley Softball welcomes all children aged 4-18 who live in northwest Calgary. Children of all skill levels are invited to join our teams. Our programs offer players an opportunity to develop skills, create friendships, and above all, have fun. West Valley Softball programs are administered by the Silver Springs Community Association and is not incorporated. All our operating funds come from registration fees. The fees cover CMSA league fees, player insurance. Donations of cash and equipment to the district are gratefully accepted and are eligible for charitable receipts through the Silver Springs Community Association.

Winter Skills Sessions
These sessions represent some of the best value in youth sports and are a great opportunity to enhance skills over the winter months. They will be held Sundays on the turf at Absolute Sports – Airport Location in Calgary from October 20 to December 15th.
Players will have fun, while increasing skill and confidence through fitness, batting, defense and game strategy.
Registration will use 2025 softball age divisions:
- U9 (2016, 2017) & U11 (2014, 2015): 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- U13 (2012, 2013) & U15 (2010, 2011): 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
- U17 & U19 (2006-2009): 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Session Dates – Sundays (no session on November 10 – Remembrance Day long weekend)
- October 20, 27
- November 3, 17, 24
- December 1, 8, 15
Skills Session Registration and Details
- Cost is $215 per player for 8 sessions
- Please Note: Times are subject to change to accommodate registration numbers.
- Silver Springs Community Association membership is NOT required
- At the time of registration, select the appropriate West Valley option for your child’s birth year.
- Complete player and parent information form.
- Please see information regarding the West Valley 50/50 raffle.
- Team Snap will be the main form of communication prior to sessions starting.
