Holiday Wreath Workshop with The Calgary Horticultural Society
Sunday, November 29: The Common Room, Silver Springs Community Association
Join the Silver Springs Community Centre and the Calgary Horticultural Society for a festive, holiday wreath-making workshop.
Create a one-of-a-kind, fabulous outdoor wreath that will last all season. Choose from a wealth of all-natural living materials:
sprigs of evergreens,
a variety of berries, shapely twigs, cones – creating a wreath to reflect your personal taste.
Bring hand pruners, gloves, and an apron if you have them.
In this informal workshop, we'll show you how to make a decorative festive wreath from fresh green foliage, cones, and berries. The wreath is yours to take home at the end of the class. A great way to get you in the festive mood.
This workshop is for those who fancy creating a wreath with a more unusual design. Using mossed frames, mixed greens, cones, and berries. Imagine glitter, pine cones, that unforgettable smell of pine, cinnamon sticks, ribbons, bells, red berries, and you'll have captured the seasonal scent.
You will create a beautiful, personalized outdoor wreath with helpful tips from our experienced instructor.
