Dance Foundations & Winter Fitness Registration Opens December 1st 2022 at 9am

Line Dance – January 12th – April 6th – (12 weeks) $120 – No Class Feb 16th
Beginner Line Dance – There is no experience required for this class. Basic line dance steps and terminology will be taught during this session. We will also go over line dance etiquette. Wear supportive, comfortable shoes that have a smooth sole and comfortable clothing.
High Beginner / Beginner Plus Line Dance – This beginner plus class if for those people who have taken the beginner class and are ready for more of a challenge. There will be more turns and new step combinations to master. You are ready for this class when you are able to easily remember the basic dance steps that were introduced in the beginner class. You are also able to do a majority of the dances by memory. When beginning a new class with more of a challenge practice is encouraged.
Improver Line Dance – This class is suitable for our more advanced dancers. We will add to the basic step patterns and choreography will include a variety of tempos and rhythms. At this level the dance routines will have several turns and will often have restarts and tags. The choreography is typically 32-64 and involve several turns.
Proactive Adult: An active class for those who want to keep moving with choreographed cardio patterns followed by free weights and mat work. Designed to promote muscle awareness and improve muscle tone. Balance exercises are a must. The choreography is alternated with interval workouts to keep the routine fresh every week! Fusion Fitness: (registered class) A blended class that incorporates posture and exercises from Yoga, Pilates and strength training. This mat-based course provides participants with all the best aspects of yoga, pilates and strength training for an exceptionally well-rounded class that challenges even the most expert Yogi and pilates guru. This low impact class improves participants’ strength, flexibility and balance. Participants are encouraged to bring their own Yoga mat. Instructor: Judi
Session 1: Jan 11 – Feb 22 2023 (7 weeks) $70
Session 2: March 1 – Apr 12 2023 (7 weeks) $70
Strength and Core: This class focuses on building strength in both the upper and lower body. Working with different counts as we lift weights. There will be a cardio interval (no choreography), followed by core work on the floor and stretches. Open to all levels. You choose the weight you want to use. Seniors Yoga: Classes will focus on gentle stretching, breathing exercises and meditation. It does not matter how flexible we are as long as we keep moving and do what we can. SCENT FREE CLASS Instructor: Marcy

Cardio Dance Fit – Jan 10 – Feb 14 2023 (6 weeks) 7-8pm $50
Come join the dance party! This class will have you letting loose on the dance floor while getting a great workout. No dance experience required! January 10th class it FREE
Beginner Ball and Barre – Jan 11 – Feb 15 2023 (6 weeks) $50 This class will focus on low-impact movements designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can. In addition to building strength and flexibility at the barre, this full-body workout will target core muscles with the stability ball. No experience required, open to all fitness levels. Modifications to all exercises will be to increase or decrease intensity. January 11th class is FREE
Retiree Yoga: Friday January 13th – Feb 17th – (6 weeks) $50 – January 13th class is FREE. This class will get your body moving in ways that are supportive. You will notice your breathing become calmer and we will also include mindfulness practices that can be used in your daily life. Open to all levels and abilities.
